02 / A few simple steps

Measure once.
Choose with confidence.

You'll need paper, a pencil, a ruler, and a flexible measuring tape for children's widths.

01

Start with length.

Place paper on a hard, level floor. Stand with your weight evenly distributed, mark the back of your heel and your longest toe, then measure the distance between them. Wear the socks you plan to use with your shoes.

02

Check the width.

For adults, measure straight across the widest part of your foot. For these children's charts, measure around the widest part with a flexible tape: the values represent circumference, not a straight line across the foot.

03

Compare both feet.

Measure both feet and use the larger measurement. Select the chart that matches the product's sizing category, then check the model's fit notes before choosing a size.

03 / Make it measurable

Before you measure: Print on US Letter paper (8.5 × 11 inches) at 100% scale. Turn off “Fit to page” and check the credit-card reference on the printout. Align and tape the adult pages together as instructed.

The finishing details

A fit that feels
right for you.

Choose the right moment.

Try shoes on later in the day, when your feet may be slightly larger, and wear your usual socks.

Check the heel, midfoot, and toes.

Your heel should feel secure without slipping. The midfoot should feel comfortably supported, not squeezed, with space to move your toes.

Between sizes?

Try the larger size as a starting point and check the model's fit guidance. Adjust lacing or sock thickness for comfort, but avoid a fit that slips or feels restrictive.

Always try both shoes.

Your feet may differ in length or width. Choose a fit that accommodates the larger foot comfortably.

Keep your measurements current.

Remeasure adult feet annually and children's feet regularly as they grow. Recheck whenever your usual size begins to feel different.

Comfort should come first.

Pressure, rubbing, cramped toes, or numbness can signal a poor fit. Recheck both length and width rather than expecting a tight shoe to become comfortable.
