Start with length.
Place paper on a hard, level floor. Stand with your weight evenly distributed, mark the back of your heel and your longest toe, then measure the distance between them. Wear the socks you plan to use with your shoes.
DROVIIA / The fit edit
Great style starts with the right fit. A little measuring makes all the difference to your next pair.
01 / Your size, decoded
Select your category, compare measurements, and check the fit notes on your chosen product.
New Balance sizing reference. These charts apply to New Balance footwear and are not a universal guide for every brand sold at DROVIIA. Use the sizing category shown on the product page. Fit and width availability vary by model; children's ages are approximate.
* Confirm before ordering. Marked entries contain conflicting measurements or an unclear conversion in the source chart. Ask our team to confirm the measurement for your chosen model.
A dash means no conversion was supplied. Width charts cover only the listed sizes. View New Balance's guide .
02 / A few simple steps
You'll need paper, a pencil, a ruler, and a flexible measuring tape for children's widths.
Place paper on a hard, level floor. Stand with your weight evenly distributed, mark the back of your heel and your longest toe, then measure the distance between them. Wear the socks you plan to use with your shoes.
For adults, measure straight across the widest part of your foot. For these children's charts, measure around the widest part with a flexible tape: the values represent circumference, not a straight line across the foot.
Measure both feet and use the larger measurement. Select the chart that matches the product's sizing category, then check the model's fit notes before choosing a size.

The finishing details
Try shoes on later in the day, when your feet may be slightly larger, and wear your usual socks.
Your heel should feel secure without slipping. The midfoot should feel comfortably supported, not squeezed, with space to move your toes.
Try the larger size as a starting point and check the model's fit guidance. Adjust lacing or sock thickness for comfort, but avoid a fit that slips or feels restrictive.
Your feet may differ in length or width. Choose a fit that accommodates the larger foot comfortably.
Remeasure adult feet annually and children's feet regularly as they grow. Recheck whenever your usual size begins to feel different.
Pressure, rubbing, cramped toes, or numbness can signal a poor fit. Recheck both length and width rather than expecting a tight shoe to become comfortable.
Send us the product name, your usual size, and your foot measurements. We'll help you check the available sizing information.
